J.A. McClelland & Sons act as expert witnesses mainly in property related disputes concerning valuations for partnership dissolution and dispute resolution procedures. This involves preparing valuation reports and making representations to Court, Arbitrators or Independent Experts.

While going to Court should be the last resort, it may be necessary. Property matters may be heard in different courts or quasi-judicial settings for example County Court, High Court, Lands Tribunal. The dispute resolution process requires proficient communication and negotiation skills to achieve a settlement, whether through Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) procedures, i.e. arbitration, independent expert determination, adjudication and mediation or litigation.
